For decades I have offered over one hundred ideas and critiques of the nawcc operation from the bulletin, the mart, conventions, public entry, locations of shows, MB, home pages, chapters, advertising and promotions, awards, displays, mentorship, rules and regulations, elections, finances, museums, and many other areas for discussions. While a few items of improvement have occurred, there remains a multitude of opportunities and wholesale changes that are a must before the membership slides below that 10,000 level.
As a fifty year+ member I have observed quite a bit of nonsense, dishonestly and gross errors that have directly contributed to the state of the association, its finances, operational failures and membership losses. While constantly harping here and there on a few of the issues here on the chapter MB (both publicly & private), the assoc. movement onward remains agonizingly unresponsive. Possibly there should be a new phase towards improved and faster reactions with selected round table committees created to resolve many of the issues at hand?
